Autumn Pasture 10" x 8" acrylic
This painting is the second painting for American Miniatues, which takes place this Saturday at Settler's West Gallery in Tucson, AZ. Several horses and mules graze in the aftenoon autumn sun. They will soon be used for work and perhaps for packing into the backcountry, but for now they live the easy life.
The call of the outdoors has always been my inspiration. My art is deeply rooted in my love for adventure - from trail running, hiking, and backpacking to hunting, fishing, skiing, and snowshoeing. Each of my highly realistic paintings originates from firsthand experiences and through my work, I aim to share the beauty and significance of these special moments with others, bringing the viewer into the heart of nature.
I specialize in creating realistic paintings that transport you into the natural world, capturing the very essence of being present in the moment. My detailed style reflects the rich textures, vibrant colors, and intricate patterns found in the wilderness, bringing nature to life in paint.
Through my art, I hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural world and encourage conservation efforts to protect these irreplaceable wild spaces.
