A flock of tundra swans peacefully rest during the cool early morning hours. Having migrated from their breeding grounds on the northern tundra these majestic birds are replenishing themselves for the winter ahead and for their future trip back to the arctic. My Facebook Page My Website
This is my first foray into oil painting - a study of rabbitbrush which is a common high desert shrub that always lends a pop of color to the arid landscape. I kept the style somewhat loose and painted fairly quickly. It is amazing how well oil paints blend compared to acrylics! My Website My Facebook Page
My passion, which started early in life, is creating paintings of wild animals in their natural habitat. For me the best part of being a professional artist is spending time in the field studying and observing birds and animals. We live in such an amazing world, I just want to soak in as much as possible and share it with others through my paintings.
