Eagle in Progress - currently not for sale

Currently untitled  18" x 13"
Here is a painting of a bald eagle that is getting near completion.  You may not be able to tell because the photo is small, but there are small details left to complete that are very important to defining the power of this bird.

I love the composition. A vertical format seems counter-intuitive, but it really works.
