Morning Shoveler 5" x 5" acrylic $265
Last week, on my way back from a show in Southern California, I stopped into Colusa National Wildlife Refuge as the sun was rising. Most of the waterfowl had migrated north except for northern shovelers, gadwall and cinnamon teal. The morning light was spectacular as a storm had just passed through. The clouds above were illuminated which in turn reflected off the water. More paintings will come from this morning, but this painting with the movement of the duck in the water and it's silhouette is the first... My Website
