Resting Gambel's
These quail are at home in the hot climate of the desert Southwest. Here one rests on a rock in the cool shadows the early morning. Although their plumages are similar, Gambel's quail are slightly bigger than the more common valley quail that everyone is familiar with. My Website
My passion, which started early in life, is creating highly realistic paintings of wild animals in their natural habitat. For me, the best part of being a professional artist is venturing outdoors to experience the sights, sounds and creatures that inhabit our wild places. We live in such an amazing world, I just want to soak in as much as possible and share my passion for the natural world through my paintings.
